Our School Sessions have continued during the spring term with weekly visits.

During the first half term children from year 4 visited and we created a series of activities which linked in with their DT topic.

We learnt about different types of pockets and even had a go at sewing a few!

DT explores how things work in a practical sense. We twisted this slightly and looked at what keeps the world working; team work & kindness.

During two of our sessions, we read the Kindness Quilt and The Together Quilt and went on to make one of our own.

During the second half of term children from Year 2 have visited residents and have done activities linked with The Quangle Wangle's Hat. One of the favourites is a game of 'Name that Hat!' Thinking of ways to describe different types of hats so the other team can guess correctly. Another is Garden Bird Top Trumps. Both activities encourage working together.
